Capture Your Best Angle

We see the world in different dimension because we perceive everything differently, so as well as in photography. There are different ways or angles in photography, depending on how the photographer captures your picture that you also like. But did you know that there are standard angles to capture your subject? And that is what we did in our Educational Technology subject entitled “Workshop in Photography Composition”

First , the Rule of Thirds. If your feeling senseless because your not his priority and always the third party, well here in this composition you are specially apppreciated. Rule of thirds suit you. In this angle, if you divide the picture into three, the subject should be placed on three where you include the background or the environment of the subject. See the pictures below, that’s our Rule of Thirds best shot with a caption!

“Our greatest glory is not in falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

”Don’t be afraid to stand for what you believe in, even if that means standing alone.”

Second, is the Leading lines. If you believe that you are born to be a leader, then this next composition is for you. Literally, there should be a line that leads you to the subject. Usually to emphasize the subject, it is placed in the center or in the front. Just like what we did in our captured  pictures belo“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”
"Instead of following a path,  lead one "

"I will either find a way, or make one”

Next in line, is the Bird’s Eye View. If your’e a person full of dreams and you want to fly up to the sky to see the world in one picture to pursue those, then you should know this angle. This Bird’s Eye view is captured from the above like you are literally a bird taking a picture below. But, in our picture we did not fly because we’re not a bird, we’re human though. Instead, we climbed up to the highest building we have in our school. These are our pictures in limit.

“Give me a place to stand, and I shall move the world”

“Things that are real are given and received in Silence”

If you are small but terrible and you have a wide imagination that you were able to look up to the wold in its biggest picture, then you desrve to have this third composition which is the Worm’s Eye View. In this, you are also literally acting like a worm capturing a picture of your subject, so you need to bend down like  what we did in our pictures below .

“Be unique and stand differently from everyone”

“Where folwers bloom, so does hope”

If you just graduated and received a lot of picture frames, well now those are useless because of this fifth composition, the Natural Frame. From the word itself, natural, you need to find something natural  that looks like a frame, your subject should be in the center. Usually most of the photographers used trees, but you can use anything that will give you a natural frame. See our Natural frames below.

“A smile you sent will always return”

“Be at friend who sees your need and remains still like Baymax”

Lastly, we have Contrast. If you think you should stand out uniquely with everyone, then use this angle. You just need to find a subject and a background oppositely in color. The subject should aways stand out in the picture. Just like our captured pictures below.
“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it”

“You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it”

Wanna try those different angles?
Capture your best shots using this Photography Composition! Good Luck.
