The Magnificent 21st Century Teachers


What comes first in your mind when you heard the word heroes? Is it Spiderman? Superman? Or Wonderwoman?

Well, if you ask me, I would rather say my TEACHERS.

Do you ever wonder how our teachers take to talk and talk the whole day in front of us  in the whole year without always losing their  voices and tempers? Maybe they absolutely have superpowers.

Me? as a student and a teacher in making, I just realized how that thing is possible to them. Our teachers are not robots to not get tired, but they always do their best in teaching us and  guiding us almost everyday in our lives. We all know its their job to act as a teacher, but to influence and inspire  us with all their hearts is just amazingly great.
They are teachers in heart but certainly  heroes in soul.

I, taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology will be a teacher soon (InShaAllah). Through the years, I’ve been thinking how and why I chose this path? Maybe because the destiny lead me this road and the destiny knows how I will become a worthy person if I pursue teaching. I continually appreciate this course since I love science. And if I became a teacher, I will also appear as a  superhero by my students.

As a 21st century teacher, its a challenge for us to cater the the generation 2 learners for being more engaged in technology than us. According to the good qualities of Teachers in 21st century, Teachers should be futurist on how they will deliver the lesson wit the use of the emerging tools and other web technologies. I should engage myself more in technology and should always learn and aprreciate the trends in technolgy that is helpful in education.

For me either you are Yesteryear teacher or a 21at Century teacher, you are all magnificent heroes.
